Computer programmers not required in the near future?
Not really! While robots and AI are automating many tasks, computer programmers will still be needed for a long time. Here’s why:
- Someone has to program the robots – AI and automation rely on human programmers to create, maintain, and improve them.
- AI can’t think like humans – AI can generate code, but it still lacks creativity, problem-solving, and critical thinking like humans do.
- New technology means new programming needs – As technology advances, new programming languages, frameworks, and AI systems will need human developers.
- AI makes programmers more efficient, not replace them – AI can help write code faster, but humans are still needed to design, debug, and optimize it.
- Security and ethics – AI can’t fully understand ethical concerns, security risks, and business logic without human oversight.
So, instead of replacing programmers, robots and AI will likely become tools that make programmers’ jobs easier!
